I saw this photo on the interwebs and really really wanted to paint it.... I sketched it out... and then nothing happened. I just didn't have time or didn't feel like it or whatever but today, today I have painted it. I did use a pen to outline. LOVE pen it always makes it easier and just change the whole vibe of it.
A couple of things worth mentioning.
I like a mechanical pencil for drawing and a white eraser to erase or a kneadable eraser. I call them a putty eraser... not sure why. Be careful not to damage your watercolor paper.
Permanent pens. Make sure its permanent. Can never go wrong with a Micron or Sharpie pens and I have a few Faber-Castells too.
While we are painting and actually the sketching part too there isn't much instructions LOL sooo have fun with it and mix those paint for gorgeous colors. I had ALL the intention to mix up bold colors but ended up with the color scheme I love. And then I splatter and life was good. Remember to share with me after you painted.
